New This Week: Halfway Celebration
If you missed last Sunday’s halfway celebration and reports, you can watch the entire services from the Live tab on our YouTube channel: click here.
Front Entrance & Grand Foyer
Structure work continues on the front and west side of the exterior Grand Foyer. Temporary walls inside the Grand Foyer are protecting the interior of the church building from the outdoor elements during this phase, and will remain up until late fall.
The construction zone perimeter fence wraps around the Fountain Plaza space and out into a significant portion of the west-side parking lot. Recommended Sunday entrances into the church are: all east Grand Foyer doors, the north and south Atrium doors, the Chapel entrance, and the east “E3” covered drop-off. Temporary handicapped parking has been designated in the unit of parking spots directly south of the Chapel. Please note that the circular drop-off drive at the front of the Atrium is closed to automobile traffic, though you may still walk to those doors. Golf carts are also available to help transport you closer to the building.
Due to the construction in the Grand Foyer mezzanine, some access points into the Sanctuary balcony are limited for the next several months. In the Atrium mezzanine, the short staircase near the elevator is closed, as there is active construction happening on the other side of that doorway. Available balcony access points are from the staircases in the Grand Foyer and from inside the Sanctuary itself (though some upstairs balcony exit doors are also closed due to construction in the area). Please expect these closures to last for several months.
This phase of the Grand Foyer work is expected to be completed in time for the holidays. Upon completion, construction will immediately shift to the east side of the Grand Foyer.
Thank you for your continued flexibility as we experience construction, messes, and inconveniences all throughout our campus! This work is certainly causing each of us frustration and extra effort, but we are excited about how God will use the work we’re doing now to impact people for generations to come.
