Next Steps
There are many ways to get connected at Central Community Church. We know choosing a church home is an important decision, and we want to assist you in any way we can.
Guest Services
If you’re a new guest, we invite you to stop by our Guest Services desk right outside the Sanctuary after the service. We would love to meet you, give you a small gift as a thank-you for visiting, and provide more information about Central.
Starting Point
Whether you have questions, or you’ve just made your decision, or you’re revisiting your faith after a time away, Starting Point is where you begin your journey to know Christ. It starts with a brief visit to the Starting Point area in the Grand Foyer after a service, where you will receive a beginner’s packet with a New Testament Bible. A new friend will follow up with you to answer any questions you may have and offer encouragement. Later on, an eight-week class is offered to introduce you to the most basic beliefs we share as Christians. Email Dr. Bob for more information.
Baptism
Baptism is a believer’s public declaration of faith. It is a simple, outward demonstration to the world of the transformation that has happened inside you from a relationship with Jesus Christ. Though the process of getting baptized is simple, the experience is incredibly meaningful. If you’re ready to step into the waters of baptism, email Rachael Pope for more information.
Core Central
You’ll enjoy community and fun at an experience we call Core Central. Over this four-week course, you’ll learn more about who we are as a church, how to grow in your faith, and the many life-giving ways you can be part of our church family, including the opportunity to make this your home church. Most people that will participate in Core Central will find a place to serve, and many will continue on in a LifeGroup with the people they’ve met. This is an ideal place to start if you’re looking for your next step at Central Community.
LifeGroups
LifeGroups are small group gatherings of 3-15 people who love, support, and encourage each other in following the Lord. We were all designed to laugh, cry, grow and serve others. LifeGroups are the place to do that with new friends. If you’re interested in joining a LifeGroup, email Cori Broddle for more information.
Serve
We believe that serving in the church is an important way that believers are active members of God’s Kingdom, and we know God has a special place for you to connect with others and serve where you can make an eternal impact in the lives of others. We invite you to explore the many service opportunities available, from working with our kids and youth ministries to welcome people as they enter the building, to leading music from the platform, to working behind the scenes in tech. There’s an opportunity for everyone!
