August 9: Weekly Status Update

Please note that all published dates and timeless are subject to change. We appreciate your flexibility as we continue to refresh out campus!

A second major project began this week as preparations are made to widen and pave the gravel road on the west side of the campus. Find the details below!

East Sanctuary, Room 215, CCP Restrooms: Happening Now
Remodel work to three sets of restrooms continued this week. Currently, most efforts are being applied to the restrooms in the preschool hallway (which began July 29) so that they are ready in time for inspection before the Central Community Preschool begins in September. While these restrooms are closed, Sunday morning preschoolers will still have access to the in-classroom “Jack and Jill” bathrooms. Work on the restrooms in the east Sanctuary hall and upstairs by Room 215 began July 8. All remodels are expected to last approximately 45 days.

Gravel Road Paving: Happening Now
Work on the gravel road on the west side of the Chapel began on Monday, August 5. In addition to paving the existing gravel road, it will be extended with two-way traffic to the Maple Street entrance. The road is expected to be completed by the start of the school year. Please note: the west parking entrance will be closed for Sundays, August 11, 18 and 25. While you are entering or exiting the parking lots these Sundays, please be alert for new traffic flows and direction from our parking lot team.

Sanctuary Stage: Begins Next Week
The extension of the Sanctuary stage is now expected to begin Monday, August 12 and continue for several weeks. During this time, worship services will continue in the Sanctuary.

Atrium and Second Floor Remodel: Details Coming Soon
Start dates for the remodel work planned for the Atrium and second floor classrooms and offices are being finalized. They will be shared as soon as they are available.
