Celebration Planned for First Anniversary

It’s exciting to see the progress that has been made since the Refresh Campaign launched a year ago. That’s what we’re getting ready to celebrate on Sunday, March 30!

That Sunday, as a fifth Sunday, was already earmarked as a Family Sunday worship service, where members of the whole family would come to “big church” together. Now, as the first anniversary of Refresh approaches, there will be even more to praise God for.

“Last spring, we surpassed our $5.4 million pledge goal, and generosity from the church has been incredible ever since,” said Senior Pastor Bob Beckler. “Our first set of projects—the Atrium remodel, updating four sets of restrooms, the Sanctuary platform extension, and more—were completed in time for our Christmas celebrations.”

Now, as we celebrate what God has already done, we’re also preparing for what He has in store for the church next.

At these services—9:00am Classic and 11:00am Contemporary services—church leadership is excited to preview the next set of improvement projects, which are planned to begin in spring 2025. The services will also include child dedication, special music from the kids choir, and other memorable elements. Light refreshments will be available.

There is also be the opportunity to join this work if you feel God is leading you to give.

“As we’re celebrating the one-year anniversary of Refresh, this is a great time to jump in and be a part of what God is doing in this three-year giving initiative,” Pastor Bob said. “If you’re new to Central or you couldn’t take part in Refresh last spring, I want you to know it’s not too late!”

The anniversary celebration of Refresh is an opportunity to acknowledge the incredible things God has already done at Central and look forward with anticipation for what He is preparing to do next. We look forward to celebrating with you!
