We are so excited to invite families from our community to our annual Thanksgiving Food Distribution. Each car will receive—completely free!—a frozen turkey and a grocery bag of traditional Thanksgiving fixings to feed 4-6 people.

Here are the details:

  • Saturday, Nov. 23, at Central Community Church, 6100 W. Maple St., Wichita, KS.
  • 6:30am-noon (or until out of food)
  • FREE frozen turkey and fixings for a complete Thanksgiving dinner
  • Recipients must be in a car and drive through the line
  • Only one turkey and grocery bag per car

Q. Where is it?
A. The Thanksgiving Food Distribution takes place at Central Community Church, 6100 W. Maple St, Wichita, KS.

Q. When is it?
A. The Thanksgiving Food Distribution is on November 23, the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Q. What time does it start?
A. The line will begin moving at 6:30am.

Q. What time does it stop?
A. The line will stop moving at noon or whenever we run out of food, whichever comes first.

Q. How early should I line up?
A. You are free to begin lining up anytime the morning of the distribution.

Q. What are you giving out?
A. We are giving each car the ingredients to prepare a complete Thanksgiving meal including frozen turkey and the fixings to feed four to six people.

Q. How does it work?
A. We ask that all guests stay inside their vehicle at all times. We are giving one food bag per car, and are unable to make any exceptions.

Q. Do I have to be in a car, or can I walk through, bike through, or ride my moped through?
A. We can only give food to guests inside a vehicle, and are unable to make any exceptions.

Q. We’ll have two families in our car. Can we get more than one food bag?
A. We can only give one food bag per car. However, if you’d like to get back in line after you’ve gone through once, you are welcome to do so as long as supplies last. (Additionally, if we feel an individual is abusing this, we reserve the right to withhold giving more food to that vehicle.)

Q. I’m unable to get there Saturday morning. Do you have a delivery service?
A. Unfortunately, we cannot offer delivery. Guests must be in-person to receive a food bag.
