Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What time does it start?
A. The line will begin moving at 6:30am.

Q. What time does it stop?
A. The line will stop moving at noon or whenever we run out of food, whichever comes first.

Q. How early should I line up?
A. You are free to begin lining up anytime the morning of the distribution.

Q. What are you giving out?
A. We are giving each car a frozen turkey and a bag of Thanksgiving meal groceries that can feed four to six people.

Q. How does it work?
A. We ask that all guests stay inside their vehicle at all times. We are giving one turkey and food bag per car, and are unable to make any exceptions.

Q. Do I have to be in a car, or can I walk through/bike through/ride my moped through?
A. We can only give food to guests inside a vehicle, and are unable to make any exceptions.

Q. We’ll have two families in our car. Can we get more than one turkey/food bag?
A. We can only give one turkey/food bag per car. However, if you’d like to get back in line after you’ve gone through once, you are welcome to do so as long as supplies last. (Additionally, if we feel an individual is abusing this, we reserve the right to withhold giving more food to that vehicle.)

Q. I’m unable to get there Saturday morning. Do you have a delivery service?
A. Unfortunately, we cannot offer delivery. Guests must be in-person to receive a turkey/food bag.

If you have any additional questions or have an emergency while in line, please call the church office at 316-943-1800.
