In this video, Pastor Bob Beckler discusses the trials that we are sure to encounter as we share about Jesus, but also encourages us to remember that we have nothing to fear.
OVERVIEW: As Paul began his work to share the good news of Jesus, he quickly discovered it wasn't always going to be easy. However, he also learned that God would be faithful to His call. In the same way, Pastor Bob says, when you're in the business of sharing the Gospel, you have to remember that struggles and oppositions are guaranteed. But don't lose heart: you are empowered by Jesus to do the work, and all you have to do is stay obedient!
The power of the Gospel is unstoppable. In this series, we'll see how the first Christians in history took the Good News of Christ's resurrection to the ends of the earth. Now, 2,000 years later, the power of the Gospel message is no less exciting... And the joyous responsibility to spread the Word has been given to us.
December 25 & January 1:
10:00am Combined Family Worship
Christmas Day and New Year’s Day both fall on a Sunday this year. On these days, we are combining our worship experiences into one combined service at 10:00am. We hope this allows members of our congregation to spend more time with their families on these special holidays while still offering the opportunity to gather and worship. These services will both be live-streamed.
There will be no Kids Ministry or other class gatherings on December 25 and January 1. Kids are welcome to attend “big church” with their parents, and these services will be shorter and more casual than our usual Sunday services. Additionally, Cafe Central will not be open these mornings.
We pray this holiday season will be a blessing to you and your family! We look forward to celebrating these special days with you in these combined family worship services.
